An iron-rich fragment associated with the Mundrabilla meteorite field on the Nullarbor Plain of Western Australia. The accompanying collector information identifies Mundrabilla as an iron meteorite find first recorded in 1911 and classifies the material as an IAB-group, medium octahedrite. The note also records meteoritic iron (approximately Fe 90%, Ni 7.8%, Co 0.48%) with troilite inclusions and accessory graphite and schreibersite.
This individual fragment weighs 3 g and retains a naturally irregular, weathered surface with a dark metallic body and warm rust-brown oxide tones. It is sold as the exact specimen photographed.
The Mundrabilla locality and classification are based on the provenance information supplied with the piece; no independent laboratory analysis or certificate is claimed for this individual fragment.
