Ocean Jasper — Tidal Colour Slab
A substantial slab of Ocean Jasper, selected for its broad colour fields and flowing natural patterning. Across the surface, muted rose, brick-red, smoky grey, cream and darker mineral tones move through one another in long, water-like bands, giving the slab a quiet coastal feeling.
The supplier describes this piece as Ocean Jasper. In the lapidary trade, the name is commonly used for patterned orbicular jasper and orbicular chalcedony, valued for its unpredictable colour fields, banding and natural inclusions. This particular slab has a sweeping, landscape-like expression, with an organic rough edge and plenty of material for display, cutting or future lapidary work.
The supplier photographs show the slab wet and dry outdoors. Water deepens the colour and brings the pattern forward; the dry views give a more natural sense of the saw-cut surface and finish.
