Chalky white mineral seams trace across the piece like a frozen cross-section of a geological vein, while small earthy inclusions and raw edges keep the specimen honest and tactile.
At 121 g, this is an easy-to-display collector specimen for a shelf, desk, cabinet or mineral collection. The piece is naturally irregular and unpolished, with visible cleavage and a softly weathered surface that rewards close viewing.
Fluorite is a relatively soft mineral (Mohs hardness 4) with perfect cleavage in four directions. Handle gently, avoid hard knocks and abrasion, and display on a stable surface.
