A sculptural rough specimen of fuchsite-bearing quartzite, commonly sold in the lapidary and mineral trade as green aventurine quartz. White to translucent quartz is threaded with deep green mica-rich inclusions and warm brown weathering, giving the stone a layered, mineral-rich character.
The green inclusions are visually consistent with fuchsite, a chromium-bearing green mica, but the mineral identification and locality have not been laboratory verified. This is the exact one-of-a-kind natural geological specimen pictured.
