Story

COMING SOON — not yet available to purchase.

This exact red horn coral specimen is still on its way to Deep Time Atelier. The photographs are supplier photographs, including wet and dry outdoor views. I’ll add new in-hand photographs, confirm the measurements and update the final condition notes after it arrives.

A striking face-cut fossilized rugose coral from Utah, with vivid red to crimson agatized-looking coral structure framed by grey-brown natural matrix. The cut face reveals the coral’s radial internal pattern, while the sides remain rough and naturally textured. The supplier describes this material as red horn coral, with the original coral replaced by silica and iron-rich mineralisation.
