Moroccan Crow Shark Tooth — Squalicorax sp. (65–100 Ma)

A genuine fossil tooth from the extinct crow shark, identified in the accompanying seller note as Squalicorax sp. from Morocco. This is the second tooth from the original two-piece lot.

Squalicorax was a Cretaceous shark with finely serrated teeth, known from marine deposits across the ancient world. Comparable crow-shark material is commonly dated to the Late Cretaceous; the supplied note gives an estimated age of approximately 65–100 million years.
