Welcome to Deep Time Atelier—a place where the immense history of the Earth is translated into objects made to be held, worn and lived with.
The idea behind the atelier begins with a simple fascination: that beauty is often a record of change. Stone remembers pressure. Fossils carry the traces of vanished life. Coastlines are shaped by movement repeated over thousands of years. Even the smallest fragment can hold the feeling of a much larger story.

Where deep time meets the hand
Deep time is the scale on which mountains rise, oceans open and close, and living things become impressions in stone. It is almost impossible to picture—and that is precisely what makes it so compelling.
At Deep Time Atelier, that sense of age and transformation becomes a creative language. Fossils and mineral specimens sit alongside hand-finished jewellery inspired by strata, tidal forms, ancient seas and the slow folding of the Earth. Resin captures colour and movement beneath a clear surface; metal brings warmth and structure; small variations remain visible as part of the making.

The result is not a reproduction of nature, but a response to it: a wearable relic from an imagined geology.
Made slowly, released in small numbers
This is an independent atelier, and the collection will grow thoughtfully. Many pieces are singular or available only in very small numbers. Their individual markings, textures and colour shifts are part of what gives them character.
You will find vivid opal-like flashes, oceanic blues, mineral greens, ember reds and violet spirals—each piece carrying its own miniature landscape. Alongside them are genuine fossils and specimens: direct fragments of the deep past, chosen for their form, history and ability to provoke wonder.

More than jewellery
The collection has grown beyond jewellery. Deep Time Atelier now brings together a wider range of objects and materials shaped by deep time, including:
- Jewellery: rings, necklaces and pendants inspired by strata, tidal forms, ancient seas and mineral colour.
- Fossils and fossil materials: ammonites, dinosaur gem bone, megalodon teeth and fossil plates.
- Mineral and rock specimens: mineral pieces, orbicular granite, malachite and cuprite, agate, rhyolite and other geological forms.
- Petrified wood: polished display pieces that preserve the colour and structure of ancient timber.
- Meteorites: etched iron meteorite specimens and other material from beyond Earth.
- Display slabs and cabochons: individual pieces for collectors, shelves, studios and anyone drawn to the physical record of the planet.
There is lots more stock to upload, and the collection will continue to grow as new pieces are photographed and prepared. Check back regularly—there will be plenty more to discover.

What comes next
This journal will be a place for stories from behind the pieces: the geological ideas that inspire them, close looks at fossils and minerals, notes from the making process, and new work as it emerges.
Thank you for stepping into Deep Time Atelier. I hope you find something here that makes the distant past feel unexpectedly close.
